FEATURED ARTISTS

Aida Ade is a singer/songwriter & producer based in St. Louis, Missouri.  She is a trauma therapist and classically trained violist who has transitioned into the world of vocal music.  With inspirations ranging from Nina Simone to Chaka Khan to Sade to Fall Out Boy to Chronixx, Aida displays a truly eclectic sound in each of her works. Her most recent release, "The Unbreakable Aida Ade" is an EP which embodies unique blending of her many musical influences as well as her mental health background.

Katie Hubbard is a singer songwriter based in St. Louis, Missouri. Her debut album, Slow Down, Child, was released in September 2022 and is a heartfelt anthem of grief, love, friendship and mischief. Influenced by a family of singers and musicians in love with the music of the sixties and seventies, Katie started writing songs after the death of a beloved aunt. A new melody was born in her mind and soul.

THE HOST

A genre-fluid singer-songwriter and musician based in St. Louis, Samantha Clemons is hard to pin down; but better that than being boxed in. Her soul-soaked sound finds its roots in the echoes of gospel choirs, jazz and blues rhythms that surrounded her during her childhood. Her mother–a St. Lucian musician, singer and artist herself–was the first to see the spark of her potential and bought Samantha her first guitar at age nine, shaping the songstress she’s become.

As NPR’s Pilar Fitzgerald noted of her 2021 Tiny Desk submission, "Clemons' voice is striking: secured in deep depths in one moment, then bursting like wildfire in the next. And just as complex as her range are her lyrics — the story she tells… is so beautifully imagined."

In addition to NPR, Samantha’s music has also been highlighted by Rolling Stone, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Kansas City Star, and Dallas Observer.
